The main goal of OSH Institute “Uchebny Combinat” is to improve working conditions and to create safe and health workplaces by  providing  a high-quality OSH and vocational trainings, consultations and information services for different kind of workers, specialists and employers. Over 12 000 workers, managers and safety specialists take part in the training courses organized by “Uchebny Combinat” annually.

“Uchebny Combinat” uses modern Russian national Guidelines and training methodologies and programs. Reform of the Russian National OSH System requires new modern approaches to organization of the training. Implementation of the new methodologies such us systematic approach to OSH systems, risk assessment, economical issues are highly requested by Russian enterprises, employers, workers organizations, OSH Institutes and authorities. Modern international information, good practice and experience in the sphere of OSH is very important and useful for Russia now. Using of ILO and international materials gives opportunities for OSH Institute to reach a new high quality level of training process, information and consulting services and to satisfy growing rapidly customer’s demands.

Modern modular and interactive technology, computers and different train equipment such us exercisers, models, simulators are used for training of trainees and testing of their knowledge.

Under supervision and in close cooperation with ILO Moscow OSH specialists “Uchebny Combinat” elaborated a practical training course on Risk Assessment. ILO OSH materials, best practice of many countries on risk assessment procedures and methodologies have been utilized in the course materials. The course is adapted for Russian speaking countries conditions and used by enterprises, universities, OSH training Centres in Russia and over 7-8 CIS countries.
