The Training Center, Kalinina 22 is one of the oldest training centers in St. Petersburg. It has about 65 years of experience in OSH and vocational training of employers, employees, OSH experts and managers from Saint Petersburg, Leningrad region and Nord-West Russia. Over 12 000 people have training courses in the Center annually.
The main goal of the Center is to provide a high-quality OSH training and mastering skills for different kind of workers, specialists and employers for increasing safety at work and promotion for people to obtain decent and productive work.
Training Center, Kalinina 22 collaborates with the ILO Project ILO/RUS/04/М02/FIN "Improving of OSH System in North-West Russia" (www.ilonw.safework.ru). The main areas of collaboration are:
* Organization of joint OSH activities (workshops, seminars);
* OSH training;
* Capacity building on OSH in Norh-West Russia;
* Testing and implementation of the Project results (OSH training modules, methodologies) on practise;
* Dissemination of the ILO information and promotion of the ILO approaches.
